@Jeff woad, thanks for the info.. I thought the tour de france would be on, but I trust you. I just wanted to make sure that it was set up before the Nascar Race came on this afternoon. Fingers Crossed, thanks again.
When i tried last night even with the downgraded addon nothing was working hence why i went to the windows 8 app
I'm pretty sure Tour de France is a separate subscription not as standard with cable logins? Could be wrong

you dont need a paid sub to watch it just like the golf channel

According to NBC sports you do.

You can however watch NBCSN through your cable provider, e.g. Xfinity as an online channel but not through live extra with a cable login. As far as I can see.

Thankyou for creating this app I am sure alot of hard work has gone into it.

I have installed it, configured it to use a Direct TV login. I cannot see any streams in blue. I can stream the golf channel at the top of thr list.

I am using 17 July version. Any ideas?

EDIT to add:

I removed the 17 July version and installed the 6 July version. This time I do see two links in blue. However I get "Failed to Authorize".

When I play the live links on the website stream.nbcsports.com/liveextra/ using a laptop the video plays. The videos sya liver coverage commencing soon. Does that make any difference. The laptop is on the same connection.
UPDATE 2015.7.20 Released:

So I did notice that some streams were acting funky this weekend. I thought it was my new code that broke it but it actually turns out nbcsn changed where the streams url is held in the returned json file. I've updated the code to account for this now.

As another attempt to better allow access to streams, I've simplified the code to simply make any event playable if a stream url is present (Cable subscriptions still required for blue). For instance Nascar America in the below screenshot isn't airing right now but the stream is playable, so the content may not match but it should be noted that the "Starting at:" time in the description box will show the proper air time / date. So in short, no more time based restraints, if there's a stream present kodi will attempt to play it. I'll leave this up to you guys whether or not you want to keep it this way.
