Would like to be able to specify the location of the video cache when caching to hard drive. Currently the cache is hardcoded to write to the xbmc temp directory and can't be moved, a setting in advancedsettings or in the gui to change the location would be helpful.

as a workaround you can change the temp dir via env vars. e.g. on linux:
for gotham:
XBMC_HOME=/tmp xbmc
