I didn't realize Syabas/CloudMedia had gotten so bad as to ban people for raising issues. They've joined Xtreamer in their lows it seems.

I never had a Xtreamer box but I have heard they aren't all that great with support.

Worse than Syabas/Cloud if you can believe it.

Results looks good. looun, showing downloaded Kodi is odd; thought it was supposed to be a custom 15 version of theirs? And, agree with movie78, must be a way to have this work similarly in M3 or Q5/Q10.

so .. the good news is hisilicon Hisilicon 3798 M has good SDK ,the bad news download kodi because is custom version (i suppose ) or there is some thing strange.

My Gecko still in customs for weekend, i let my impressions when i have chance to test it....anyone more technical want to explain this post about the Gecko...
One time activation ? never heard of this in media players.

so.. i think if gecko need dowload ti 's not optimized versione it's fork/custom version
and there isn't a steting into in http://kodi.wiki/view/Advancedsettings.xml for this

Q5 and Gecko have same OS 4.4.2 (as report OH forum user ) i suppose have same kernel Hisilicon,so i think it's not difficult to porting custom OH code into official kodi or may be OH kodi work with m3/q5/q10.
