Hi

I have a strange problem, some of my movies want export.
All the files are stored on an smb server, I have checked that the attributes are the same for all folders.
They are as this:
Movies>All movies>Files (nfo,etc)

The server is running win 7 ultimate. (XBMC (13.2 Git:20140817-0f3db05). Platform: x86 Win32 32-bit)
If I do it from the server it is ok, but this is hidden well.

My CB is my main HTPC, so I use that for doing all. And it should be writing to the server.

Here is my log, from the CB HTPC box: http://pastebin.com/bgPSwexi

I have searched hi and low on the net and div forums, but can`t find a good solution.
I can write and edit files with no problems from a normal computer.

Kindly

Petter
What do you mean "export".

What exactly are you trying to do?
I`ll go to menu>video>export (backup), single files.
So I don`t need to scrape all the movies everytime.
Ok it looks like you don't have write access to the smb share.
That`s what I thought too.
But, every folder and file has the same settings.
It is shown other problem to now.
It can`t "get" the files from many of the folders. (it get`s the nfo, pictures. But not the movie file.)
So can`t play that movie at all.

It a problem from windows 7 to windows 7 to, the files are missing if I browse the network. But
if I check the server locally, all the files as there.
Check permissions and ownership of every level of the path to the files.
I will try, this is really strange.

I thought that if I shared a main folder, the sharing permissions will add down on the sub folders and files.

No, a folder inside what you shared could have different permissions.

Right click on the shared folder and choose properties. Set permissions, and choose to set everything below that level. Sorry can't recall the exact wording.
I don`t know how to do it, but I tried something. And it looks like it worked.
I have to try more tomorrow.

Thanks so far.
