Hi all,

Have just setup my xbmc with the pvr plugins, all works great. however I have a question on how best to schedule / start a recording remotely. say when im away from the machine / house?

The setup is as follows. win8, Kodi v14, nvpr backend. I also have the official xbmc iphone app.

I was hoping that i would just be able to use the iphone app to start a recording. For example navigate to the channel guide section of the app and select record. The option doesnt seem to be there. Does anyone know if this is planned?

If not, what are the other options of kicking off a recording remotely?

Npvr seems to have a web server plugin. Might be worth a look:

It does. Infact, this is built into the default install. If you view http://127.0.0.1:8866, you'll see it. To access remotely, substitute your internet accessible ip address/
