I wonder if scraping from http://thexem.de/ or TV Rage would be better then TheTVDB.

You must know about them. I know little about them, does thexem have the data from all the others?

TheXEM has no data. All it's for is mapping season/episode numbers to that of thetvdb/anidb.

At the moment we work on the rotten tomatoes scraper, which will probably also available for the TV show section.
But this will take a while
