im sure this feature exists but I don't know what's called?

I have two builds, Gotham 13.2 on a Mac mini and the same on a raspberry PI and want to play something and have both of them play it in perfect synch.

Can it be done?
Never heard of such thing.
You have the "Play To" option (starting of XBMC 13.x) where you can play a video from local XBMC on a remote screen, but when you do it, the video is displayed only on the remote screen and not on the local screen.

I don't think that XBMC has an option to play a video on both sides (local and remote) at the same time.

But maybe you can use a 3rd party tool/software that allows you to duplicate local display to a remote screen using a wireless connection. I don't know how to do it on Mac mini, but I done this successfully on Windows using Miracast.
thanks I'll have a Google.
Some android based upnp remotes support playing upnp content to multiple renderers at once.
