I setup the Gotham version on my Raspberry PI and my kids love the auto-play for TV shows, however, auto-playing movies is a bit annoying. It would be nice if I could limit auto play to TV shows only and turn it off on the movie listing.
There were some ideas that were thrown around when the feature was added. One was to have the setting be something like
Automatically play next video:
With options like:
*never
*always (movies, TV shows, and files)
*next unwatched episode in a TV show
*next episode in a TV show
or just have the behavior only apply to TV shows and file lists.
It's a hard balance because it adds more settings, and default behavior might not match what "everyone" wants, but I do agree that this would be worth considering in regards to TV shows and movies.
If someone can implement the idea in a logical fashion, both behavior and settings wise, I think it would be considered.
