Could you help me out with this? it is possible ? i wan to try it...

I want to install XBMC on a android device, then conect this device to a local area network, another device using windows conected to this network has a lot of video files on te hard drive disc, on this disc each movie has a folder with cover and trailer in.

Can i play those video files on my android device ?

Can i feed video information without internet conection ?

Yes, it's called file sharing (wiki). Just set up SMB (wiki) on the windows computer.
