However for TV shows, the genre is displayed after opening the TV show and when looking at Seasons. I think it should be the other way around, genre info should be at the show level before you open it to go into the season listings. Frankly, I would much rather have this as a toggle option, either display genre or not. I find that it just adds to the text at the bottom. Because now you have TV show name on line 1, episode count on line 2 and now genre on line 3, it's too much in my opinion. TV show name + episode count, 2 lines is enough I think. Same thing for movies, I think its too much text and I much preferred the previous layout of movie title, then the essential info on line 2 with the year, rating and time. Now genre on line 3, I feel there is way too much text because some of those genres are way too long, ie: Top Gear... Comedy/Documentary/Reality. That's one big line of text down there.
Anyway, just my 2 cents to ponder Enjoying your work!
I will add an option and possibly switch that info. If I do not in the next few days please remind me (I might have forgotten) since I think an option is a good idea and choice is never a bad thing
Thanks Mike, glad to hear you like the feedback

Can I uninstall the original aeon nox skin?

Is it possible to include this code in your future update please. It is located in variables.xml. It's about mpaa for france. Thanks.
The only part I am missing is this:
Code:
<value condition="substring(ListItem.mpaa,Déconseillé aux moins de 10 ans)">flags/mpaa/dm10.png</value>
<value condition="substring(ListItem.mpaa,Déconseillé aux moins de 12 ans)">flags/mpaa/dm12.png</value>
<value condition="substring(ListItem.mpaa,Déconseillé aux moins de 16 ans)">flags/mpaa/dm16.png</value>
<value condition="substring(ListItem.mpaa,Déconseillé aux moins de 18 ans)">flags/mpaa/dm18.png</value>
<value condition="substring(ListItem.mpaa,Autorisations non définies)">flags/mpaa/ndef.png</value>
I will add that if you can send me the images for those ratings.
dm12.png
dm16.png
dm18.png
Unless they are the same images like dm12 is the same as csa12

If you want to. This skin is self contained and does not require any other to be installed.

Ok thanks. will give you a link for dm10,12,6,18 & ndef
It is for files "not advice under".
Just wanted to say a big thank you to @mikesilvo164, I'm a long time Aeon Nox 4 user but your mod has added almost all the features I was missing in Aeon Nox 5 (a big thank you to BigNoid too!) I switched it a couple of nights ago without warning my wife and she later remarked "I like the new setup on the TV", this is very high praise!
One feature request I have is with the OSD, controlling the displaying of the progress of what you're playing. In Aeon Nox 4 is you could set it to display time remaining instead of "Current Time Position / Total Time". I find it's useful when I'm letting my daughter watch one of her shows and I don't have to work out in my head how many minutes are remaining, "in X minutes you need to go clean your room"
Just checking out the latest Showcase changes off git and I think I found a bug. The titles for TV shows are missing (movies seem to be fine), but for TV show listings it's just blank underneath the posters and when you go into seasons, it's missing the title Season X under posters, but it does show episode counts. Genre toggle is working great though!
Also Mike, TV show listings is missing episode counts, so both title on line 1 and episode count (total + unwatched) are not showing. Seasons showing episode counts but not titles.

I tried a couple of ways to implement this but none seemed to look good so I will keep trying to think of ways to do it. If anybody has a suggestion

All should be fixed.

hey Mike, still seems to be missing episode count at the show level, see before and after (latest git):

What if there is an option on how to display "Current Time Position / Total Time"? You can either have it the way it's now when current time start counting up from 00:00 or you can set it to count down from total time so for example it'll be something like 19:02 / 22:01 where as 22:01 is total time and 19:02 is how many minutes are left, it's counting down to 00:00. That way its up to the individual user to select how they want to see their progress, with the default being the way it is now counting up from 00:00.
Alternatively for a more creative approach... Nox 4 had this white translucent overlay over the video which said PAUSED when you paused a video. Perhaps something like that could be done here as well, but instead of saying PAUSED it will tell you how many minutes you have left. So it would look something like this (but ofcourse be white and semi transparent just like the old PAUSED overlay):

Started trying things and did this quickly so it needs fine tuning but...

Looking good! I think it's more of an elegant solution this way. I wouldn't mind maybe even having it bigger like so:

I'd prefer the smaller one — sometimes I pause the show in order to read something on the screen.
Though it would depend on how transparent the overlay was, of course… difficult to tell when the screenshots are paused on a black screen
