Live case backgrounds for Moviesets work great, discart working great, ... but am only getting the Movieset cover to display, no brochures.

If anyone could point me towards a solution, I sure would appreciate it.

Remove all skin.info.service folders from your addons directory then restart Kodi

Update skin.info.service from this LINK

Do I uninstall the service, or just delete folders? Note: I only see one folder - script.skin.info.service-master. Are there others to delete?

Also, your link is for version 1.0, which I already installed,... is there a later version?

If you only see one folder than you should just be able to install from zip or overwrite the folder manually. The instructions are to be sure it works the first time just in case you did have more than one folder for skin.info.service

Did it, still only getting the MovieSet infopanel 'dropdown'. Is the link you gave me supposed to be for version 1 or, ... a later version. (the link is for version 1, which I already installed)

If it didn't work then close Kodi and delete all skin.info folders and install the one I posted a link to. If everything works but the brochure list it is because the newest skin.info.service is not installed. There has been no change with the version number so that may be why it does not correctly update when installing from zip.

Stupid me, .... in View Options, I had Flatten - ON, which apparantly disables the Brochure.
Once I turned it off, ... the brochure worked fine.

Is there a way to make it ... when Flatten is ON, .... then force Hide Brochure = ON? just a suggestion.

This has prolly been said quite a few times, .. but you've really got the Aeon Skin to where it really POPS!!!!! thanks again!

This is an either or situation. If you want Flatten you can not have sets that open and display discs

Number 2 I cannot reproduce, I may have accidentally solved it by fixing #1 but the live background has no code connection between the disc animating so that bug is very surprising

Do you have a raspberry pi or something similar that might have low specs? I am trying to figure out if it could be a performance issue related to skin.info.service or something related to having lower spec hardware. I highly doubt it is connected to the script since it was created by phil65 but I like to rule out as many possibilities as I can no matter how unlikely they might be.

Not sure about the fanart for live background... I tried it and, to me at least, it seemed to not look or work as well.

Thanks Mike, confirming that #1 is fixed. Still seeing #2, but again, as soon as Kodi is restarted everything is fixed and back to normal. Tested on a i3 and i7 machines, lots of ram, etc, so definitely not low spec.

Here was i found :

- 1/ Unfortunately same problems with rolling discart & opening cases. (3 movies work after opening a boxset. After does not work)
- 2/ Always with boxset mod, if two boxset are side to side, and if we navigate from one to the other, the second one is already opened.
- 3/ Mod delay does not seem to work. With 2 sec delay, cases always open immediately.
- 4/ you manage to correct the bug with normal case reflection & boxset opening

- If we deselect showcase mod, mod delay works, but point 2 remains.

So there is definitively a problem with the showcase mod. Hope you will be able to resolve it.

1) Can't reproduce. Opening a set like Harry Potter with 8 movies in it, all the cases open fine and diskart rolls in no matter how I scroll through them. Tried opening the boxset after it unfolds, tried opening it before it unfolds, can't reproduce this on my machine

2) Can't reproduce this either. Have 4 boxsets side by side, and scrolling through them, they all start from a closed state then unfold a second later. Again tried this a number of different ways and settings, can't seem to reproduce.

3) Not seeing it either, I have proper delays whether it's 2 seconds or 5. The only issue I found is: when you go into the boxset just as it starts unfolding, but you don't let it fully unfold and you press enter, the movie case inside the boxset will be open and have the disk inside already. But I think thats the limitation of the mod since you are going into the boxset midway through the animation. I honestly dont think its a big deal since this only happens if you time it right.

If possible can you please post a video and/or screenshot of the error? If you see it and I can't reproduce it is extremely hard to fix

I thank you for the confirmation that you do not see the same issues of wilmans2m. I do consider all issues a problem to be solved so if you or wilmans2m can post a debug log (wiki) it may provide some more insight. I must remind anyone that provides bug reports that I can not and do not support installing Official:Forum_rules/Banned_add-ons (wiki) especially any banned repos as they often provide wrong or problem inducing versions of some required scripts. If you have any of them installed it can and usually does cause problems that can not be helped or solved by me. I recommend a fresh install without any included repos or addons from that list to help isolate possible causes of any problems you may experience. I am also not saying you are doing that but I need to say it as I spend too much time solving issues that can usually be traced back to something not supported by Kodi or myself.

Hey mikesilvo164, i made the buffer (cached/progress) seekbar in the osd menu a bit brighter, so it's easier to see how much a video has buffered (imo it was too dark before). If you decide to try it, just drop the file from the link below into the skins media/osd folder.
