All:
General question not really skin related, but related to the fact that some skins put more emphasis on music than others.
I use Kodi primarily for movies (HTPC) but also have a cd collection. I would like to burn all my CD's to have it my HTPC but don't see me listening to music while watching the lyrics on my screen. So my question, other than using Kodi as a Karaoke tool, why do other people load their CD's in their PC.
Sorry for the offtopic, but I like what Mike added to his skin to enhance CD experience and would like to take advantage of his mod
Thanks

I use music playback when listening at home when in my media room and also when I have company over and nobody has any interest in watching something... I think it sounds better coming from my surround sound system... I also use the Kodi remote app and a great music specific app called XBMC/Kodi Music Remote Pro I bought from the appstore with an iPad and pass it around for others to pick and add their songs to a particular playlist, music queue, or party mode session. I like having the artist fanart being displayed with info showing on track changes.
I have a few TV shows in my collection that lack a channel/network logo. The missing logos are for fairly obscure networks, but it'd be nice to have them anyway. I'm not sure how that sort of thing works...I could probably contribute them myself if they're being pulled from some kind of "logodb" site or something? Or is there some other way to get them into my collection?

The logos are pulled from the collection of icons in the media > flags > studios folder for the default and media > flags > colored > studios for the colored mod. They need to be created and placed in those folders to match your studio/tv channel name. Unfortunately I don't have any experience in making anything image based so I can't help with creating them.
no prob, thanks, I can give the logo creation a shot. If I come up with anything useful, would you like me to send them to you to include in the skin?

Yes, thanks for anything you can provide
ok, great. Got one done already, will let you know when rest are available.
ok, all done. I made logos for four networks--Yahoo Screen, YTV Japan, TV Asahi, and MNN (Manhattan Neighborhood Network). I made colored and standard versions for all four, so there's 8 logo files in total. I've PM'ed you the dropbox link with a zip file containing all the files. Cheers!
This may be a bug in music visualization.

I think they all look great... one suggestion though. The colored Yahoo! one may look better if the words are instead of white on purple background just purple words and no background
The naming convention for the channels to match are correct if I remove colored from the filename?

I can't replicate that... I have never had an issue when changing tracks. Does it happen often or just on rare occasions?
Try replacing
this file in skins 1080i folder
