Add option to hide episode thumbs when hiding plot for unwatched items seems to have an error. The Thumbs for watched Episodes are always "FanArt" or "Landscape" and not "ListItem.Icon" because "system.getbool(videolibrary.showunwatchedplots)" doesn't change on Episode-basis (watched/unwatched), but only on the Kodi-setting.
The only solution is to compare the Plot with String #20370. Please add
xml:
+ String.IsEqual(ListItem.Plot,$LOCALIZE[20370])
to the conditions in Variables.xml in NoSpoilerIconVar at line 334 and below
Thx

When Kodi starts it hangs on the loading circle just going round. If I then press backup on my remote it goes to Kodi, briefly displays then plays my splash mp4.
I’ve had a search and there was a thread asking about it but never got answered. I had a look in the settings xml and looked at what was recommended in other threads but that seemed to be more about the duration.
As I say, the mp4 plays fine when it does start but doesn’t start on opening Kodi.
I am using a shield tv, with a nightly from the 20180514. I have put and renamed the mp4 into the extras folder. I have also enabled play splash intro on the skin.
Any help?
Logfile, again hope I’ve done it right: https://paste.kodi.tv/jeletoreni
Hi all, any clues?
Still can’t get the intro.mp4 to play on immediate startup
Hi
mikeSiLVO , can you please add a shortcut in the menu to artwork beef next to "Library Update" so we can activate it after each update.
Thanks
I have searched for this, but maybe using the wrong term.
In the search icon, i have options to search local library, youtube or themoviedb.
The first 2 work fine, but when selecting themoviedb it does nothing. Is there something I need to install or configure?

mikeSiLVO Can I please request the Movie INFO type HDR to be added across all view types and Movies OSD info screen as a LOGO. HRD is becoming very common and love to see this info without playing and checking the info via TV feature and get the info via your lovely SKIN features...

There are settings in Artwork beef that will auto update when a new file is found. Something to the effect 'update library after new file processed' (I'm not in front of kodi at the moment). This will activate AB after the library update if something new is found.

Thank you so much, that worked. I was keep on looking in skin setting and the Music OSD settings. I hope you dont mind me asking another question.
I have a collection of Movie Sound tracks & Albums in Music. How can i make the background of each of the Movie Soundtrack to it appropriate movie fanart rather than artists images ..is there a settings for that in the skin, code that i can put in? .. Just like how the movies are displaying its fanart. If that is not possible will i be able to show an image inside each folder like the fanart.jpg as background, just like how it shows CDArt from folder.jpg.
I have artist slideshow and CdArt Manager installed too..
Thanks for your help again.
I don't know of another way to do that other than the last line of your question (in bold). Someone else more knowledgeable than I would have to answer the first part of the question.
To set the fanart for each movie/album:
Rather than spoon feed you the answer I think you will learn how to do this if I give you a hint. When a movie title is highlighted you can use the "C" key to open what is known in Kodiland as a "Context Menu". From there you have several options, one of which will be "Information". Select that and I would be willing to bet you can figure out from there how to add the fanart you want for each movie/album. Before you start this you will need to have the fanart images either all stored in one folder/central location, but I think it's better to put the art in the same folder as the album.
flhthemi,
Thanks for the help with the Context Menu that was very useful. So what happened was I went to my context menu I didn't find the option to select fanart. After a few search here found out that the version that I was using was missing the add fanart Icon & saw a reply from Mike that he fixed it in the latest git. After I downloaded the latest files, I got the add fanart icon and was able to pick the fanart in the folder. But how can I display the fanart that is in its appropriate folder for each Album if I name the file fanart.jpg like it finds the folder.jpg as the image for CD cover. Thanks for your help.
Hi all,
I have an issue with the OSD not being displayed during playback. The buttons are there I can use them using my controller etc, just can’t see them.
Additionally, when the video has finished, I get a black screen. Again I can navigate around and hear the kodi sounds etc, just can’t see anything.
A reboot sorts this out or using a different skin.
Have read around the forums, I have messed about with resolutions, hardware acceleration and other settings without success.
Anything jump out at anyone? Which logs would you need to see to debug this?
Many thanks in advance, also...... the best skin hands down!
Probably need a debug kodi.log file. Turn on logging in system settings and then make the problem happen. Shut down Kodi and paste the content from the kodi.log file and the link to it in pastebin or someplace like that.
Evening, how do you enable BBFC ratings? Do you have to install anything extra?
TIA

Quote:<onclickcondition="String.IsEmpty(ListItem.Trailer)">ActivateWindow(videos,plugin://plugin.video.youtube/kodion/search/query/?q=$INFO[ListItem.OriginalTitle]+Trailer)</onclick>
my youtube plugin is working too, so why not the trailer on the video info?
anyone an idea?
Here's my Log https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/zbmTYzc5MG/
I have the same thing happening. Seems like either a Kodi bug or an issue with the Youtube Add-on. The ListItem.Trailer provided by the scrapers is crashing Kodi as is the search function onclick if that INFOlabel is empty. I'm not sure how to fix. Perhaps someone can ask or check the Youtube add-on thread for assistance...

Its not the only solution
Hopefully fixed on Git now

https://paste.kodi.tv/roxakupogi
I wrongly assumed that the 4K INFOlabel for resolution would follow everything else but it does not and it, in fact, states 4K as the resolution instead of 2160p. Should be fixed on Git now but if you don't want to download it you can change the case names in media/thumbs/default (and clear) as well as both back folders for each case type (default and clear) from 4k.png to 4kp.png

Try latest from Git but if that does not work then you will need to ask a Kodi dev for help...

You need the Extended Info Add-on installed and not disabled.

I do not know of a way to tell if a library item is HDR or not. Sorry, I won't be adding any type of filename hack for things like this. If there is a way to tell without adding to and checking the filename then I will add it.

TIA
Install the Library Editor script from my repo and use the extras button in the Video Info screen then select Edit and scroll to MPAA rating and tell me what it says for as many BBFC ratings as you can. I can then add those to the variable used to display the ratings in the skin. Please provide exactly what it says including prefixes like "Rated".
Thanks

mikeSiLVO yes, excellent the new version on GIT fixes the 4k case
Just installed the latest Krypton update, artist slideshow is not working anymore for me.
It just shows the standard fanart, won't cycle through.
Restarted Kodi/box multiple times.
