I do and had it set to Random TV Backgrounds which was picking up regular TV shows as well. Not just the Anime node.

I've since fixed it by using a Smart Playlist as the main menu item instead of just a path to my anime folder. Now my background choices include a (Video Playlist) that wasn't available before.

Now I want to figure out if I can add the text overlay to display the show/movie on the rotating fanart like it does when you use that standard random fanart instead of the video playlist fanart. I really like having that displayed as I have nearly 500 anime shows and I can't always remember the name when I see a fanart. I think that's a question better asked to the skin.helper dev.

In Leia beta 1, I notice that if you add a pvr guide favorite in menu and try to open it, it just loops trying to open and never does, is this on my end or a known bug?

I noticed there is no icon for the Opus audio codec (in contrast to, say, AAC or MP3). Would it be possible to add this to a future version of the skin?

I added that for Leia version. Just tested it again and it does show the name of the library item if it is, in fact, added to your library. Does not work for add-ons and it never will.

I do not have a test environment for PVR and cannot check this but it should behave the same regardless of the skin used. Check another skin like the default Estuary and see if it does the same.

I honestly cannot tell you how many things people blame on a skin when it has nothing to do with the reported issue. It is pretty darn high and everyone always says the same thing too...

I will take a look for an icon and see if I can add it but if I do not find one then someone will need to provide an image with a transparent background so I can add it. Preferably two images. One in color and the other not.

I just switched to Lea beta 2 and there are some changes with ANS, specifically with music playback/visualization:

Normally when i start playing an album/party mode, it goes to full screen, logo.png is shown, cdart.png is shown, a press on "info" shows playback info.


Now with Lea:
There is no logo/cdart at all, i cannot find the setting anymore where i can set the path to where the music is stored so art is displayed.

When i play a new album/party mode and then press "info", i see this:


Only when i press "back" after i start playing, i get the usual music information when pressing "info" again:



I went through all skin settings, but i cannot find the option to change it back the way it was.

Okay, I updated to the latest nightly and rebooted.
Now it shows cdart and logo while playing at least.
But logos are not shown in library/artist.

Also there seems to be a bug with artist slideshow:
It works in homescreen background while playing music, but not in full screen mode.
There it only shows the standard fanart, no cycling through.

Has anyone experience issues with disc art for music showing on the home screen. Prior to Leia the disc art would show up when playing music on the home screen (spinning disc under the cover/folder image). Now only the default CD shows even though the artwork exists.

Any insight on what I might be missing or how to correct this?

One other question and this may be more Leia related. With the upgrade to Leia, any playlist that i have generated (I am using them for live stream radio links) automatically gets started in full screen mode (is that party mode). Anyone have any idea how I can stop that behaviour.

Thanks Mike, I only asked because yes it works just fine with your krypton based skin, adding the pvr guide as a Fav to the home menu does not with leia, it could be a leia bug for all I no lol..

I have removed toolbox script from the skin for Krypton and up with regard to fanart so I am not sure what good this setting will do for you...?

You told me once you don't like adding subttitle flags or other subtitle icons that shows what subtitles are present in the episode page.
I still like this to have this as an on/off option for the ones who do like to have that.

I hope you will reconsider adding this option.
I really don't like opening the episode info page everytime to see if there is a Dutch subtitle available already.

You need to install, setup correctly, and run Artwork Beef to add artist logos.

Just tested Artist Slideshow and it is working just fine for me. You have enabled it in the settings, yes?

Have you installed Artwork Beef, configured it correctly and run it? The old way looked for files but with Artwork Beef adding images to the cache I switched to use that instead. Autoplay is a setting you can enable/disable:

Yes. Use Artwork Beef to manage any extra fanart/extended artwork. You can even set it to automagically do everything when adding a library item

I posted issue on github about a month ago, I went back to check it and just noticed it says to post here:

Using kodi v18beta3 (nightly from 0920), (but I have also also tried RC3, beta1 and beta2) on android tv box.

When I enable startup intro in the skin settings, then close and try to re-open, kodi continually crashes and will never start.

My only option is to replace the userdata>addon_data>skin.aeon.nox.silvo directory with files from a backup to get Kodi to start again. Anyone have any ideas?
