About the player control buttons I think it should just be one setting for all video so I'll just make that setting hide those buttons also.

Kinda thinking it should be only in OSD settings where it is, not just because it makes sense to go there, but I also don't want any settings hidden so you have to scroll to see them if I can avoid it.

If there is some "info" stored" with the recordings, why isn't it displayed by default? If you want the user to choose between small and full info, then you should add a button "Enable small info screen for movies and TV-shows" also
My suggestion is: remove this button and enable only Fullscreen Info for recordings --> one button (setting) less

6. Add a bigger listview for recordings
sample xml will come ...

7. please, please change the infoscreen for PVR-entries to fullscreen. Atm half of the screen is not used (dark, semitransparent overlay) and the other half is only used by 2/3 of the size. There is much room for improvement: bigger text area, bigger channel-logo/Icon etc.

8. NowPlayingInfo on HomeScreen is overlapping
9. change Recording Icon in now Playing screen to the new one

@mikeSiLVO  I have some issues with the Movie Database scrapper since upgrade to 7.04 Not sure if it is related to the skin.

Some of the most common TVshows are no more recognized (Power, queen of the south by exemple),I dont know if  I am the only one to experience this issue.
Looks lilke the problem start when I install the new emburay programm.

Embuary Helper updated yesterday and nothing else.  Not sure if it's the culprit?  Selecting an actor picture in the info window no longer goes to the bios info for the actor selected.  It only displays titles within the library that actor is associated with.  This skin and Estuary.  Using v.19 nightly that was previously fine so it's not Kodi build.  Just an FYI.

Fixed on Git. It is a one line change due to some copy/paste code error, and just a smidge of stupid on my part, while adding the information setting to SlimList.

It is not displayed by default because some people don't want it and whenever I try to add/remove stuff with a setting people lose their collective shit over it so...
Also you literally just said remove a button then add a button, that's the same amount of buttons

Screenshots are helpful. Code is not cause I'm likely not going to use it.

It is half the screen cause there isn't a lot of info to be shown. Bigger logo is a silly reason to have something be fullscreen with so much empty space.
If you have examples of things that are missing then I can add more stuff and re-work PVRInfo to fit. I also am not currently happy with that look but need more stuff shown to make it bigger. Might just go back to the Aeon Nox 5 way and show a popup dialog instead of emulating DialogVideoInfo.

9 & 10 are fixed. For 8 I just re-worked that but some of the info needs to be removed. I don't show plot or end time for library items so it has been removed to match.

You can test on Git for any issues now.

I don't think you can add some of that info to timers. Have you added any and checked if it populates?

I will center it if only there is no icon but not sure if that is gonna be jarring when there is an icon. I guess test it out and let me know.

Not gonna add it to the actual guide listing. Way too much clutter then.

Skin has nothing to do with scraping. Have you checked The Movie DB site cause if it is too new an episode sometimes it takes a day or two for someone to update the show.

Extended Info is not maintained and support for it was removed. A replacement was added to Kodi repo and I switched to using that instead.

If you go to Skin settings > Help > add-ons then install script.embuary.info the actor search will work again.

That info should be in What's New IIRC...

Hey guys I see there was an update. Yesterday my posters in Movies LIST view stopped showing up. They do show up when I select the movie and get the info screen before playing, they also show up in all the other options for view (tripanel etc). I love the way the posters are displayed so large on LIST, can I fix this so they show up again?

This isn't related to the latest release - actually I don't really remember when I started noticing this issue but it has been a while. Minor issue but thought should bring it up.

Issue:
Slight flicker on the movie "info screen" (i.e. when you press "i" or right click for information) where it says "Ends at: ..." below the main movie title.

Steps to reproduce:
Pick a movie which has:
a) No tagline present

xml:
<tagline></tagline>

b) Original title exactly same as title

xml:
<title>Titanic</title> <originaltitle>Titanic</originaltitle>

c) Notice the "Ends at: " part - wait for a few seconds (5 seconds??) to notice the flicker.

How did I test:
a) Added random tagline and kept <originaltitle> same as the <title> - no flicker.
b) Changed the <originaltitle> compared to <title> along with empty <tagline> - no flicker.
c) Changed the <originaltitle> compared to <title> and also added some text to <tagline> - no flicker.

Possible reason:
I think this area of the info screen looks to display three things on a loop. End time of the movie based on the run time, original title if different from the title and tagline if available.
If original title is same as title it doesn't display that and if the tagline is missing as well then it just shows a bit of a flicker at the time of the transition from "Ends at: " since there isn't anything to display at that point.. 
That's just my hypothesis and please correct me if I am wrong.

@monisriz Yeah I noticed but was only going to do something about if someone ever mentioned it.

I'll have it just show the endtime when all the others are empty.

It is because of me using fadelabels to cycle through them all.

Let me explain this a little bit:
If Info about an item is stored in the HD then it should be shown in some way. It shouldn't matter if it is a movie, TVShow or recording. There is only FullInfo for Movies and TV-Shows, but an option for "mini" and "Full"-Info for recordings. You have two decissions if you want consistency, like

Consistency is all well and good but you are forgetting about history. This skin has been around for awhile now and if you include the Aeon Nox 5 users who switched then it is even longer. There has never been info for recordings so a sudden change in what is expected usually gets complaints. That is why there is a setting to enable it.
Movies and Episodes from library always had an info screen so an option to disable it seems unnecessary just for what you consider "consistency".

PVR/Live TV has always been treated differently likely due to BigNoid and I not having/using it so working on it has always come secondary.

When I added the fullscreen info for add-ons people complained and didn't want it so it was made optional and disabled by default. This really is no different than that.

Added Ep info to guide but not sure where to put it so it is in the plot section.

Check now playing, should be fixed now.
No progress bar on now playing. Do the other Now Playing Widgets have one?

I don't think Kodi provides the info you are asking for. What INFOlabel is the "Icon"?

Of course, there has never been info for recordings. But it is an improvement. Don't you think, users are happy, when they see a nice info about recordings? It is IMHO a step forward for the skin.

I don't know about/can't remember the old info about addons, but I think it is different. People now see info about recordings, like description etc. which was in EPG/Guide before recording. Don't you think such info can be useful?
Leave it as it is, I just thought you can get rid of a button

No, because there are 3 view settings for the ChannelView --> List, Biglist and Wall, which are not bind to this setting.
So I thought there could be a second view for Recordings also

Of course, but I just reorded some entries. I didn't make new views. The new view came in mind, when I edited "Timers" for my Mod. In the end, I liked the bigger List view There are so many views for Movies and Episodes. Why not 2 or 3 for recordings.
And I know ... you are not using it ... but maybe others ...
If someone else requests a new View for Movies or Episodes, then you are doing it, right? Why not for PVR?
