Hi!

I am using DVBLink as the backend. When pressing instant record or recording live tv, Kodi will just set a timer.
What could be wrong, because I want it to start recording immediately when I press record.
What time is the timer set to? Doesn't it start recording?
Hi! I uploaded a video about my problem.

Sorry about the quality and the speed. My first time recording anything. Big Grin

I'm unable to reproduce with tvheadend, it could be an issue with the DVBLink addon. Are you able to do a quick test with another backend?

I installed and tested NextPVR on my other machine and still had the same issue.
Can you post a debug log?

Anyone? Still experiencing this issue.
Could anyone try to help me with this issue? It's really annoying.
It seems someone else had this same issue some time ago: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=157534
I use vnsi and can't reproduce your issue. Must be related to the specific addons.

I don't have any extra addons. I have tried this with two computers running different versions of XBMC/Kodi with different PVR addons and still have this issue.
Still experiencing this issue. Should it normally start to record immediately after pressing the red button? Sometimes it starts recording if I press it twice, but that's not reliable.
Yes, it should start immediately. If it doesn't it is almost surely a bug in the backend or addon you're using since I can't reproduce this either.
