How could I scrape folders having a DVD with some movies? E.g. 4 James Bond movies:

"Der Morgen stirbt nie (1997) - Die Welt ist nicht genug (1999) - Stirb an einem anderen Tag (2002)" containing these files:

VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.VOB
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB
VTS_01_3.VOB
VTS_01_4.VOB
VTS_01_5.VOB
So is that one DVD with 4 movies?
2 Movies on one DVD?
This is indeed a tricky thing.
IMHO this is not supported by *any* player...
(and happens quite frequently when buying TV series on DVD)

The easiest option - copy the folder 3 times.
Just wasting a few gigs of your space...

One solution would be, to use MakeMKV (or similar tools) and extract the 3 main movies as separate files.
Then you can create 3 seaprate movies of it.
The good thing - you can start the movies directly, and do not have to use the DVD menu.
The bad thing - you loose the DVD menu and all the extras...

Other (expert) solution could be:
Move the DVD Folder somewhere outside of the datasource
Then create the 3 separate movie folders.
After that - the hard part; create a linked VIDEO_TS folder, and redirect them to the previous stored directory.
So all 3 video_ts folders are linked to the same DVD...

Depends completely on you;
For TV series i usually use 2)
And for movies - it depends. If i want to preserve the Extras or not...
hth
You can retain the extras as separate files and use video extras addons.
Many thanks.

Very sorry, this example has 3 movies on 1 DVD. Other folders contain 4 movies on one DVD or 5 or 2 etc.

Hmmm, having more or many of such DVDs means waste a bit more of GBs and...

I would like it to keep the menu and extras.

Unfortunately I really do not have any idea of something, so none expert solution would be the best.

So may be the best could be just to create a disc file for each movie and rename the folders the way they will not be scraped, e.g. just James Bond.

Which add ons do that?

Many thanks again.
