I tried some shortcuts / keys while running a movie, may be I unaccidentally changed anything.

Dumb question but are you sure you didn't hit the FF button? Mine did that too and hitting play took care of it..

FF button is the fast forward button, I assume. Yes, I am sure, it is not caused by that button.
