System uses alsa drivers.

Thanx for any suggestions.
Set your settings level to expert and post a screenshot from your audio settins please....

And a Debug Log while playing one of those dts files.

Are you sure the meat loaf iso is in more than 2 channels. I searched for it, but can't find a blu ray...only the dvd and this has dolby digital 2.0. Did you try playing other dts files? Are those playing fine and you have the issue only with this one? If you have issues with other files, could you please paste a Debug Log from playing those as well? The log itself looks fine as far as i can see.

Btw...dont place logfiles for download. There are many pastebin sites, where you are able to paste this...one is pastebin.com for example.

Yes i am sure. Aplituner detects "DTS" signal but hear only two channels. I have this problem with every material contains DTS audio.

Hi. I downloaded DTS test file from here: http://www.digital-digest.com/movies/mov...type=dolby
DTS Piano.
This one not working too. Only two channels...
Change your AVR's setting. If the AVR detects DTS - the job is done for us. We don't touch the dts signal at all.
fritsch: DTS-HD works fine. I hear all channels. AVR settings are ok. On Gotham i have no problem with DTS on the same AVR.

Did you see my debug.log ?
There is some errors:

XBMC Gotham was updated via apt-get install kodi. apt-get asked to remove xbmc. I replied yes. Maybe this is wrong way to update Xbmcbuntu from Gotham to Kodi ?
If i play any DVD with DTS audio on the same AVR i have DTS with every channel (5.1).
Hi fritsch.
I don't cut log files. Full log is in #6 post. I chose few lines from debug log to show you that something wrong.
ok
Test.avi - AVR detect DD Audio - i hear every 5.1 channel
English.dts - AVR detect DTS audio - i hear only front speakers.

Debug log:

That's not a full log as the audio device properties is missing from the beginning of the log, this is populated when Kodi is started.
ahh, ok
