Hi guys.

I have a HDMI TV-stick for a cuple of weeks now. It has a proper connection to my wifi-network. Browsing etc. works fine. Two weeks ago I tried to install Kodi. It seems to connect to my wifi-network as well but not to the internet. Therefore I'm unable to install any addons or repositories.

My hardware:
Toucan 4k TV-stick (Quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 1.2 GHz; Eight-core PowerVR SGX544MP2; 2 GB DDR3 RAM; 8 GB Nand Flash ROM; OS Android 4.1; Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n)

I tried to work it out myself the last two weeks. Hope anyone of you can help?!

BTW: I'm sorry if this isn't an Android-concerning problem but since my system is running Android and having no clue what might be the matter I thought posting it in the Android-forum would be the best.

Please try this again with v14.0 from http://kodi.tv/download/ and make sure debugging is turned on (see debug log (wiki)).

OK. I uninstalled Kodi and installed the official v14 from http://kodi.tv/download/. Turned on debugging mode. Hope I got it right this time.

I'm not sure why this would happen, and nothing obvious jumps out in the log. From a quick google, it sounds like it's possible for this to happen in general because of a permissions issue/bug/something. Some of the suggestions given were to try rebooting or going to Android's settings -> Apps -> then select Kodi and clear the cache.

It's a shot in the dark, but maybe it will help.

Thanks so much. I might have already tried this in the last few weeks but I am not sure. I'll definitely try again anyway and let you know if it worked.

One more question: could it have something to do with my network settings? I really suck at these things. So, I don't know if I might have to change anything within the Kodi-settings concerning my network. I just thought that when the stick is able to go online without any further changes Kodi should be as well?!

The only thing I can think of that might cause an issue is the Proxy settings inside of Kodi, under Settings -> System -> Internet

Hi did you figure out how to fix the no connection problem? I hace kodi installed con a tablet with android 4.4. And hace the sale problemas. Help!!!
