Would it be possible today to integrate the PVR / Live TV functionality further by adding the following Global key mappings ?
1) channel up / down - switch to the most recent TV channel watched, regardless of where in the Kodi interface you are, even if you're playing a video.
2) Guide - switch to episode guide
This one would be tricky:
3) Numeric keys - behave like a television or cable box would
