what is the best sound format I can get out of Kodi running on my Amazon Tv?

The Fire Tv is linked by HDMI to my Yamaha Ysp-2200 which can handle HD sound tracks.

Thanks in advance.

If it can only output 2 channel what is the best box for my setup for surround/hd formats?

PS Using Amazon prime video I do get the surround sound from the Yamaha sound bar.

As far as I know, the best an AFTV can output is Dolby Digital and DTS. The HD formats cannot be output due to Android limitations at the moment.

In the advanced sound settings all it says is android something. I have pass through enabled etc but only seem to get 2 channel.
