After updating a few Apple TV 2's to Kodi I have found it impossible to play F4M streams that worked
perfectly on Gotham 13.2.
On Kodi the streams play for a few seconds and then the picture freezes but the sound keep playing.
If I disable Video Toolbox the streams will play but very badly.
Can anybody help me with this problem, I would love to update to Kodi.
I can post a log if needed

this time you forgot to play the problematic movie *sigh*

I have looked at the log.
I think its from Line 840
Loading BBC 1 1500 stream F4M.
the video plays for a few seconds and then freezes, the sound keeps playing.

I can get it to play by turning off Hardware Acceleration in Kodi but video plays really badly.

I am going back to Gotham 13.2. until a fix is found.

looking at the posts on this iOS forum, it seems Kodi may not be suited to
older iOS devices such as the apple TV2.
If you are happy with Gotham don't rush to update to Kodi.
Maybe Nito could add a link to install Gotham 13.2 from within software update ?
