I'll try and describe best I can the information I am looking for.
I want to run XMBC on one display in windowed full screen, and play games in full screen on the other display. I am looking for a remote control, or a way, where only the XBMC application will respond to the keypresses on the remote control, so that if someone is using the remote to control XBMC, it won't affect a game I am playing on the other display.
I'm not bothered about having mouse functionality on XBMC, but the up down left right play/pause buttons etc need to be directed only to XBMC. So a remote control dedicated only to the XMBC application.
