Kodi Community Forum

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums.

Ive had my atv2 jailbroken for a few years now but only used it at a basic level. I've just had to restore it and re-jailbreak. Everything appeared to go well with seas0npass until i tried to install Kodi via Nito installer. I downloaded it to my mac but once opened Nito says the atv2 is not jailbroken. Strange as Firecore icon has replaced settings one. i then tried to install Kodi via terminal but when asked for the password 'alpine', the cursor isn't flashing and i am unable to type anything in!!!

Has anyone seen this before? I am no computer expert so not sure what to try.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

thas normal - you won't see anything when typing the password ... just type alpine and hit enter ...

Ah I see. I did type it several times though but nothing happened.

I ran seas0pass again. this time as soon as i hit enter after putting in my ip address i get a warning that someone might be doing something nasty and that host verification failed.
