Hi,

I'm sure this is just some kind of feature that I'm unaware of...I'm running the Kodi 15 nightly, and every so often, out of nowhere, while I'm just sitting around reading a book, the movie library database will start running some kind of update library scan. It's fairly disconcerting--almost made me wonder whether someone had hacked my FireTV the first time it happened Can someone tell me what that might be, and how I might disable it?

Enable debug logging, and wait for it to happen again. Then post the log here.

In the meantime, do you have addons installed like the "Watchdog" addon. Or any other programs like Sickbeard or Sabnzbd that communicate with Kodi via the webserver?
