You need to get over to Fanart.TV forums to register interest in opening a new section for motion posters there. The more people ask the more likely it will be that a section gets opened ! Click the link for info.

While I wouldn't want gifs on the fanart.tv site, what I would consider is if there were full size posters (jpgs) with say up to 120 frames.

Then we could reduce them down to a specific size and generate an animated gif from that, that would mean if a better option came about later (webp maybe) we could use that from the original frames directly, it would also be possible to create the same affect with css, by defining all the keyframes and animating it.

Thanks to _Andy_ I found where my animated gifs were located. I'm not sure if I am allowed to do this, but I have zipped them up, plus a few downloaded from here.
And added to a dropbox account.

fixed that aspect ratio,hope it works for you now.

Webpage looks little better, got Posters A-M and N-Z going next will get some animated backgrounds going. Man there are a lot to upload.

Good someone tell me what optimal size is for resizing background animations i was using 500*281.

New animated posters and backgrounds have been added to the database: 13 new posters and 3 new backgrounds.
The database now contains 498 animated posters and 583 animated backgrounds of 606 different movies.
