I have an amazon firetv and i am trying to get the pvr simple iptv working on kodi 14. It seems to populate the channel list but the videos don't play. Is there any sort of special setup required on my platform?

No. My friend bought one on ebay prerooted and setup with kodi. His pvr simple iptv works. I haven't been able to look at his settings yet.
