I am using an advanced xml file and seems to be working OK, but I have a question as to whether I need to clear the cache manually or if it does it automatically when I close one show and start another.

It clears out the moment the video stops playing. Or even before then if you're still caching to RAM.
OK, thanks. I noticed some movies it plays wonderfully until 3/4 done and then it starts stalling out. Initially you could see the grey line in front of the play line showing it was caching, but then when it starts stalling, it looks like there is no caching happening, so I was thinking maybe it was full from other shows.
