I've got Kodi running on my FireTv and while watching a video and hitting the return button the video doesn't stop playing, however Kodi continues back to the previous menu.

Is this a remote issue? I've never had a problem with my AppleTv's doing this..

Ideas or solutions anyone?

Cant you just use the pause button on the remote?

That will pause the movie not exit the movie..

I am still newer to this so someone might have a better answer than me but when your playing the movie and you push the center button, you can select stop. That is the only way I have found to stop it. Hopefully someone can tell you something that will work better for you.

You'll need to change the keymap to get it to stop by default.

Would you mind creating a sub-topic in the wiki somewhere specifically explaining how to change the keymap for <back> from <fullscreen> to <stop> in the fullscreen video section, so that we can link to it, please.

I want to set the remote file...wich shall i choose remote.xml like remote of appletv2.

You can name it anything as long as it ends with .xml

Hoe van i put THE file in the map?

You can use the file manager (wiki) to copy it over from a network share.
