It keeps crashing 5 seconds after startup. PLEASE HELP!
i tried deleting it from applications, restarting computer, and re-downloaded it. still same issue.
If you want to try a clean install try this-
1) Delete the app.
2) In Finder pull down the "Go" menu and select "Go to Folder".
3) Paste this in the text window-
Code:
~/Library/Application Support
4) Delete the folder named "Kodi" and also "XBMC" if there is one.
5) Download the app again from here.
6) Drag the app in the download to the Applications folder.
7) Launch again.

This will be a clean install with no previous settings or data preserved.
okay i will try this now. thank you
Thank you. Kodi is up and running again!
greatly appreciated!
Hi, I have also this issue, can I after performing a clean installation to restore from gotham 13.2 backup that I made?
You very likely have an Add-on or Incompatible skin is causing Kodi to crash. One that was migrated over when you first started Kodi.

I would restore the XBMC folder in Library/Application Support and then restart Gotham.
(You can even just rename the Kodi one to make it easier.)

Remove any dodgy add-ons and repositories that you have that are suspect and close down Gotham.

now delete the Kodi folder if it is still there from Library/Application Support and then restart Kodi again.

If Kodi crashes again, more Gotham housekeeping and deletion is needed.
I have kodi and it was working fine. Then it won't open. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled again. And I have the same problem, I get an crash report. Please help me with this problem
post the crashreport to pastebin.com and put the resulting link in here.
