I also don't seem to be picking up any 'Star' ratings, or displaying the IMDB Top 250 info, even with the option box checked.

I'm thinking it's a scrapping related issue...
MPAA populates for me both with themoviedb scraper and the universal movie scraper. I have to use universal movie scraper for top250 tags. For top250 universal movie scraper setting just need to enable top250 in the ratings section of its configuration dialog (you have to scroll down because all the categories dont fit in the left column).

Very clean, and customisable...i Use lots of smart playlists.
Just three things....

1. Are you going to support mouse use in future? I use keyboard or more often phone app but the wife can only cope with using mouse.

2. And might be a bug but pictures thumbnails showed...Then did not! And took a large pause before any selected picture actually viewed.

3. Thirdly, not a show stopper, but I like to view my pics on media centre, any more views planned? My personal preference is for non zoomed thumbnails so can see whole picture.
Thanks Smile
1. Probably not. Designed the skin with an IR remote in mind. There are some tricks I do that prevent proper mouse support.
2. Not sure what going on there, sounds like a kodi issue, not a skin one.
3. Thumbnails view already shows non-zoomed thumbs.

1. no worries, a lot of skins are doing this.
2. think you may be right, I switched back to my normal skin and it happened again....I've just not tested pics as thoroughly since started using kodi.
3. sorry, your right! doh!
Jurial, do you think it could be possible to improve how the lyrics are displayed in the OSD screen? A complete black window is bored for me :-D
weird:
ReFocus is one of the skins i use.
I tried out Arctic Zephyr yesterday and it build the home screen like the one i use with ReFocus,
so they seem to share assets/add-ons for building the home screen menu.
@jurailmunkey
I like this skin really great
fantastic that you do for us in your spare time have managed to achieve.
I have only one question how do I get the screen like you shows in post #639?
I have tried everything but I cannot get it working

You can add a common shortcut practically anywhere in this skin. Home screen, sub menus, Hubs, etc...

I'm thinking about adding an option for the big text lyrics like how it was in mkii... When I get a chance, bit busier now that uni has gone back.

Yep, one of the benefits of using skinshortcuts script to build menus.
@thrak76
Thanks for your comment cq help
but I only get a blank screen with four non selectable options: In Cinemas-Upcoming-Popular-Top rated.
What am I doing wrong?

Do you have extendedinfo installed?

Hi, first I want to thank you for this awesome new skin. I've been using MKII for months and really like where Zephyr is going!

Anyway, I have a question about the classic widget layout.
Is there a particular reason for the different behavior regarding the visiblity of the menu compared to the new widget layout?
What I mean: In the new layout this:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-iJnwQ...sp=sharing
becomes this when the widget is selected:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-iJnwQ...sp=sharing

but with the classic widget this:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-iJnwQ...sp=sharing
becomes this when the widget is selected:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-iJnwQ...sp=sharing

This hides a lot of the background.
Why not use the same behaviour as for the new widget (sliding out the menu) for something like:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-iJnwQ...sp=sharing

Maybe as an option? I really like the sliding out of the menu when the widget is selected, but I am personally not a fan of only one item.
Hi Jurialmunkey, good to hear you going back to school. Please attend to this issues when you get time:Cool

1) I use global search-any time I press the Content menu on search results, it shows the default skin instead
2) Please enable the options to show more fanart if possible Wink
3) Could you integrate a universal search with its icon on top of the home screen where we can easily search contents on the home screen.

Many thanks!
Is it possible to make a widget with sys infos?

i think this is pretty cool and i wouldn't mind seeing it implemented Smile

It works this way because it is a "classic" mode (i.e. it is supposed to be functionally similar to simple home widgets in mkii). I tried sliding down initially but the animation going in both ways simultaneously is very disorientating and doesn't look that great. There are already too many options for home/widgets so unless I think of an absolutely must have feature then I wont be adding any more options for those areas.

1. Yeah I still have to skin the context menu for globalsearch
2. You have to do this by modifying the colour theme definitions in skin.arctic.zephyr/colors. Fanart transparency is controlled by the color definition FanartFade in the xml of the theme that you use.
<color name="FanartFade">2Fffffff</color>
The 2F value is the opacity of the fanart in hexadecimal. Change the value to a higher value to see more fanart -- e.g. 6Fffffff
3. Just add a global search item to the menu from the home customisation dialog.

It is, but not priority atm.
I've been using the classic widget and it really adds points to the WAF Wink ! It is very clear to see what is going on and what happens when you press left or right, great work!

I've just been struggling with the fanart in the homescreen.
What i would like to have is 1 picture as background when you're in the homescreen (fallback image for example), when i press up to go to the different classic widget items i would like to see the corresponding fanart.
However i'm now only able to do the following 2 things:
1. Fallback image always, also when selecting a classic widget item
2. Always show rotating fanart of the classic widget items, even when in homemenu.

Is there a way to have it as i described or is this just not possible at the moment? And of course the follow up question: if this is not possible, could/would you implement this?
