So, I am trying to trim the fat at home, get rid of these cable boxes that are costing me around $45 a month (2 DVRs and 2 digital boxes - yikes!) and repurposing a HTPC as a Media Server.
I am pulling together 3 Raspberry Pi's for the TVs in the bedroom, basement and living room to share the content on the proposed server.
Can anyone recommend what I would need to build on the server so I can use the Raspberry Pi's as essentially clients to the server?
