7 years ago, I set up an original xbox for my grandmother.
It works great. It never crashes, and it starts every time.
I have it loaded up with a 500gb harddrive filled with ~100 dvd rips and iso files.
It boots straight into the movies categori, in List view, so she never sees anything but the movies.
When she opens the drive and puts in a dvd, the movie automatically starts playing.
It's so simple that my 90 year old grandmother uses it several times a week.
My concern is when it stops working.
Am I really going to buy a 15 year old piece of hardware, or is there a similar solution that I can buy today?
