Debug log: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=425043
I used the ISO to put a vanilla XBMCBuntu on a new NUC. Out-of-the box it boots to the Kodi and plays videos fine.
I edited the advancedsettings.xml to point to a MySQL on NAS. From this point the NUC boots, shows the Kodi logo, and goes to the Desktop. Only when I run Kodi manually again it plays the videos (using the MySQL database).
I tried to remove the MySQL settings and use a local DB, but the problem persists.
I suspected a DHCP delay and assigned a static IP, no cure. In any case, the log does not suggets an IP error.
The only error in the Log is the Pulse Audio one, but when I run the Kodi manually the video plays audio great, so I suspect a red herring there.
The log is from a fresh reboot from Kodi UI --> that ends in an Ubuntu Desktop.
What do you guys make of this? How can I fix it?
TIA
