I have the following remote and some of the bottoms are working, but the buttons I have circled in red are not working.



I am using Advanced MCE Remote Mapper Tool and Showkey to program these buttons.

The issue I am having is Showkey is not giving me the code that the buttons are sending.

Since I don't know what the button is sending, I can't change it.

Is there some other way to find out the code the remote is sending to windows?

But if Showkey doesn't show anything tthen there's a good chance that won't either.

What kind of IR receiver do you have? does it show up in Windows as a ehome device, see Using_a_Microsoft_remote_control_in_Windows (wiki)
