Kodi Community Forum

I've been using xbmc/kodi for a while as a frontend to my mythtv backend. Until recently, I've had no problem with things being episodes being marked as watched. However, recently after I watch an episode it no longer gets marked as watched.

This works:

- Open kodi
- Go to Videos
- Go to a file hosted via SMB
- Mark the video as watched
- Close kodi, then reopen
- Video is still marked as watched

However, this does not work:

- Open kodi
- Go to TV, then Recordings, find an episode
- Mark was watched (episode has checkmark next to it)
- Close, then reopen kodi
- Go to the same episode; now it no longer shows as "watched" (no checkmark)

Also, when I watch an episode and it ends, it no longer shows the episode as watched. Older episodes are still watched, which I'm guessing is from before this bug started.

Any ideas where I can go to debug this problem? Thanks.

Take a look at the last few pages of the pvr.mythtv thread in the mythtv subforum and see if the discussion there explains it.

@nickr, that thread is exactly the issue, thanks for the reference! (http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=198833). I guess I'll wait for myth .28, or downgrade kodi while waiting. Thanks again, I should have searched for better subforums.
