Seems like the Advanced Launcher add-on is not going to be supported anymore by its developer, Angelscry. He left an note to anyone who would like to keep this add-on alive. If I knew enough to pick up where he left of, I would, but my coding sucks.
It is my opinion that Kodi won't be the same without this add-on, because it allows its users the ability to expand beyond Kodi and into other apps. I, for example, use it to launch Retroarch on my Raspberry Pi. People with Android systems use it to launch whatever app they feel necessary.
It is a terrible loss for Kodi. Will someone with coding skills please continue Angelscry amazing work?
