Full Version: Best external player for stream?

Hi all,

What the best external player for internet video stream?
i've tryed mxplayer, vlc, bsplayer and wondershare but I'm always stuck on the "click on ok at the end..." but the player didn't play anything.

That's like asking what's the best kind of cancer to get. You really don't want to use any external player at all. Kodi should be able to do everything with the internal video player.

But as I've got a twinkling "black bars" on the top and on the bottom of the screen with the internal player (see my post: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=219918, I've got no choice to find an alternative......

hi all,
in my case I've some video file that if they are played with internal DVDPlayer they presents a sort of "little wave".
I've solved the problem with xbmc using the option "use software codec" instead "Hardware codec"; is there the same option in DVDPlayer?

I use MX Player Free.... not quite as good as the internal player but in my case I had to use MX Player because skipping with the internal player crashes Kodi back to the main Android desktop.... no responses on my thread as of yet.... but have found other posts in various spots about this annoyance within Android version of the internal player.
