I'm planning to install kodibuntu and eliminating windows completely on my htpc because i want xbmc to start straight from bootup, i have a dvbsky dual dvb-s2 pci card as an input for tv
how can i get this working after i install kodibuntu? do i need to download drivers?

no idea if thats still needed on ubuntu 14.04 and therefore kodibuntu.

I have just been through this and its a steep learning curve. i have just installed dvbsky s952 v3, Coming from windows, it was difficult to figure out. Considering the step by step guide didn't work for me..The guide has to be adapted to the drivers and firmware you download. There is little or no help so it can be be pretty frustrating. What model do you have and maybe I can point you in the right direction.
