hey all. Just upgraded to Kodi 19. (fresh install). But the Trakt app seems to not be working for me. When I authorize, I get "Woohoo" at Trakt, but in Kodi, the addon still says a grey "user" under accounts and not my account name like it used to. And when I run the app, it seems to only sync to like 8% and then just stops.

Interesting.  My user name (greyed out) shows fine on my upgraded (18.9 -> 19.0) Shield.
Another issue is Synchronize notifications no longer show up (using "sync collections on library update or cleaning"), although something is happening in the background to do some syncing.  Very strange behavior going on.

You currently have to disable sync playback progress in order to keep it from locking up when running manually.

I am also on Shield. And same thing. With me it is of like 248 shows? (although I have WAY more).

Same issue here, since I updated my Kodi on shield to Kodi 19, no more automatic sync. User logged successfully, and it seems that if I launch trakt manually, sync is working properly.
Tried to uninstall / reinstall, no luck.

I'm getting the exact same error. This has been the case with 3.3.3 all the way up to 3.3.5. Even with "Sync playback progress" disabled for both Movies and TV shows, it freezes at the point the dialog box / progress bar gets to "XXX movie(s) playcount will be updated in Kodi".

I have found though, that since it's only the Trakt addon that's frozen / crashed, you can still cleanly exit Kodi (since cancelling the Trakt sync does nothing) by using the "ALT+F4" keyboard combo, and select "Exit Kodi" from the shutdown menu. And before anyone asks, all my movies were scraped with the new python scraper, and the library re-exported as nfo's back to the relevant media folders, overwriting any existing nfo files, so they should all have valid TMDB-IDs.

We're not in daylight savings time until the 28th March (if memory serves). My locale is set correctly in Kodi to UK, and the PC time is correct.

Have just done the move to Matrix and now find that my trakt crashes when syncing.  I enabled debug but it gives nothing more in the log at the crash point.   I'm guessing there is a library entry it doesn't like but not sure how I trakt down which one that is to delete/correct it.
