beta 7 seems to be working for myself and others so if you havent done so already try reinstalling and then restarting kodi, if you still have problems you may want to try removing the script.trakt directory in userdata/addon_data/ after uninstalling but before reinstalling

I have it on kodi 14.2 on windows 10 x64
It doesn't work until I close kodi and open it again after update to beta 7, then it works well.

An update to Beta 7 with reboot seemed to have done the trick. I had a message saying something to the effect of "invalid PIN" or something but it seemed to have fixed itself. Just in case I got another pin and entered it again. It now works great again.

Closing kodi and opening it again solved it with beta 7, now it works.
where can I update to beta 7? i use the "dev" branch from github and it's beta 6

I have tried both installing trakt on a completely fresh 14.2 and a older 14.2 installation. On the 14.2 I was never able to get it to work. However, on my fresh 14.2 installation it worked once synching my watchlist and it no longer works now. Here is what I did when it worked.
Installed Kodi Helix 14.2
Added the Trakt add-on.
Inputted my credentials.
Restarted the system and installed my addons.
Inputted my Trakt credentials into a few addons.
- Trakt shows then showed up in my watchlist.
- Added more shows to my watch list on trakt.tv.
- Shows are no longer showing.
- Tried changing startup delay for trakt with no success or change in operation.
* Interesting to note as I watch shows on my other Genesis install it updates my watch history on Trakt.tv.

when you land on the new beta ( 6 was the last one I found )
and then you fire up "where to get my pin " the scan code is blocked by the configuration page
perhaps something can be done so the scan code and link goes in front of it just on that instance

Well the config window should close when you fire up the scan dialog (as I wasn't able to open both)
this is how I get it when i click it
