Also noticed it isn't asking to rate movie after playback any longer.

Do you use Emby for Kodi by any chance?
Yes, always have, was working fine till recently

Does this means that if we set this to 5 minutes, it will only scrobble after 5 minutes of watching the movie/serie?!
If yes, that very cool to have it!!!

The exclusions options it's also a great addition.

Yes, that's exactly what it does.

Any thoughts on my log. Context of the error below:

There are a few movies in Kodi that do not add to my collection in Trakt. I have thousands of movies, where the Kodi addon does its job and nicely syncs the library between Kodi and Trakt,

I have checked and the movie has a proper TMBD-ID and IMDB-ID. Any ideas what could be driving this?

I just pushed a fix for this, it should hit your devices by tomorrow.

You first suffered a network error.
On your second try you hit a "ValueError: (22, 'Invalid argument')" see the first post in this topic for infos on that.

Thanks, I have read the Q&A in the first post, but not fully clear to me on the instruction. Which way is the sync issue in my case and can you elaborate on the solution. Thanks!
Been having trouble with this addon.

After installing the addon, I hit the menu option in settings under user (or is it username?) to authorize trakt. Atfter authorization, the settings dialog closes and there is notification saying that authorization is successful, however if I look back at the settings the user field is still greyed out and my username is still blank--I am not sure if this is how it is supposed to be.
If I watch an episode, no scrobble happens on my trakt account. I am not sure if there are any additional options I need to enable, but I can't find them if there is.

If I enable the debug option, where do those logs go? Do I need to enable debug logging in kodi as well and then look at the kodi log?

I am using Kodi live or kodibuntu, or whatever it is called these days...
I even moved the ~/.kodi/ folder and restarted to clear everything out and try again.

(2015-12-09, 23:32)Dekles1 Wrote: [ -> ]Hi all - I have a duplicate entry issue that wont go away. I have the 3.0.4 version of the trakt add-on from the official repo and i'm running Koi on openelec. Whenever the add-on runs, it inserts 3 or even 4 movie entries for every one of the movies in my collection. The problem is only related to syncing the movies collection. Play counts, scrobbling, rating etc all work normally. The problem occurs whether i start the trakt add-on manually or if i let it run at kodi start-up. Here is a link to a full debug log http://www.dekestoys.com/kodi.log.txt

Can anyone see anything in the log that can point me in the right direction? Thank you

EDIT: Here's my Trakt movie collection showing the duplicate entries: http://www.trakt.tv/users/dekesone/colle...vies/added

Well your trakt account says it only knows of one movie in your collection

See this log file entry:
12:01:38 T:140227955894016 DEBUG: [script.trakt] sync: [Movies Sync] Movies on Trakt.tv (1), movies in Kodi (10921).

You might want to reach out to the trakt guys

I'm running into the same issue here, I noticed the other night when adding a show to trakt that something seemed wrong, I shouldn't have a accumulated 5400+ days of watched tv...

Looking into what was watched, just about every show in my collection listed progress as: Watched 13 of 13 episodes for 5312 plays (166d 0m). Great job, every episode is watched!

This is obviously wrong... Looking into the episode watched details its showing for many shows hundreds of entries for the same episode and time, as well at that same time every previous episode is showing watched.
weird thing is its not all shows, and almost random as to which shows get hit or seem to be getting hit regularly, cleaning trakt last light I deleted 25000 Watches of a 10 part show thats been complete (and off the air) for decades, but its not getting false watches now, but appears it did at one time.

Last light I watched 1 episode (1x03) of a show I've just started, "Dark Matter" and it appears to show in the logs its getting re-refreshed multiple times.,
Today restarted kodi twice, ran Trakt manually once, forgot logging so I turned on debug and pulled this log after running Trakt twice manually, so 6 times the Trakt update was called in all, and right now Trakt shows at 12:48am 6 views for each 1x03, 1x02, 1x01 of Dark Matter....

Any idea on why these shows are getting updated with new plays every time the script runs?

Logfile: http://pastebin.com/5BSdy3wn

I know its a long one, but the last two items done were 2 updates of Trakt, both times it appears to be updating Trakt with the same informaton which it just did a minute before.

Thanks for any help.

Yes, enable logging in kodi too. I use an addon to upload the logs, that's the quickest one to explain look for Kodi log uploader.

Well from a first glance, it seems like "Dark Matter" has no id. So no tvdb or tmdb ids to match by. Seems like an oversight.
Hey there :-)

since a couple of weeks my trakt app simply does not work at all anymore. Whenever I start Kodi or the app itself is says "ERROR Script failed! : Trakt". Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

debug log: http://pastebin.com/btmewzBx

Greetings

All fine... I didn't know Kodi didn't update itself, so I did this after quite a while and that did the trick :-)
