4k without hevc 10 bit, a HDR (High Dynamic Range) , gamut Rec.2020 not make any sense

Looking at the chart, the H8 seems inferior to the Q5, but I'm torn. I am ready to start using KODI again, and want the best experience with 4K. Is this SBS;HOU or 3D.ISO (Frame packed) ?
So it is playing the raw .SSIF file (Which is container of 3D.ISO) in Kodi without external player.

Just because Kodi can see that a video stream has HD audio in it, doesn't mean the player is passing it through to the AV receiver...
If the AV receiver doesn't show 'DTS-HD' or 'Dolby TrueHD' on it, then the player isn't bitstreaming..

Q5's PQ is noticeably better than VidOn's. At this point, may be better to wait & see how Zidoo X6 turns out as the best choices for 3D right now are either HiMedia or Raspberry Pi 2.

Hoping popcornmix can comment on this. Why does this happen when we have both 'sync to display' and 'adjust display refresh rate' enabled (that we get a 'no signal' message on our displays)? Both enabled on Chromebox doesn't cause the same issue.
I have an MKV file with frame packed 3d but when I try to play it with Himedia q5 it only shows it 2d
I have another 3d file in iso format and the player plays it fine, as soon as i hit play it starts to play it in 3d.
any help would be appriciated.

Cause himedia doesnt support frame packed 3d in mkv format
I've heard from futeko that audio drops in next firmware is solved..
