Just for your notice. I dunno if you are already beware of this issue, since you are heavy working on new PVR features:
Kodi ignores the setting to use the channel order of the backend. It's all mixed up. Tested on 2 devices with the latest nightlies.

File a bug report on trac.kodi.tv instead, this forum is only for developers.
