Hi there, I recently upgraded from release 14.1 to 14.2rc1...all my settings were carried over as expected.
Now I would like to go back to 14.1. Is it possible to downgrade with the standard procedures and keep all my settings?

I am using the Amazon FireTV.

thnx....
yes. You should be able to just install 14.1 on top of 14.2, IIRC.

However, I must ask, why? Is there something broken in 14.2RC1?
Yes...I cannot play https streams;
23:50:51 T:1758628864 DEBUG: ffmpeg[68D28C00]: https protocol not found, recompile with openssl or gnutls enabled.
23:50:51 T:1758628864 DEBUG: Error, could not open file

Same issue as in the 14.1 release but I have read in the forums on here that it was fixed in a later 14.1 bug release so I assumed that fix would be carried over to 14.2, but seems not.

Here is the post that mentions the same problem and subsequent fix in later release;

I am planning to go back to 14.1 and try one of the bug fix releases....
There's only one version of 14.1.
I meant 14.1 from the 'nightlies'...

Do you know about this issue, not being able to play https streams?
I was using 14.1 release android/arm.
The only nightlies since v14.0 was released have been v15 based. That is most likely what that post is talking about. Have you tried one of those?

As for the general issue, I don't really know much myself, as I'm not a developer.
OK that makes sense!
I have not tried one of those yet. But that will be my next test.

thanks for your help...
Https support is in Isengard, thus the nightlies, only, indeed.
