Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to hide file extensions in the file manager?
There is an option in the settings to do so but that is for hiding them in each categories file navigation screens specifically.
NOTES:
1.) I am aware that this is probably programmed this way on purpose with the intension that the file manager shows all files so the extensions shown are the only way to let you know what kind of file it is (meaning there are no file type icons, etc.).
I don't care, I want them gone!
2.) I am also aware that some believe that the file extension is part of the file and it should be there.
I don't, I want them gone!
If anyone has any ideas please let me know, if this can't be done at all, please let me know as well.
