A small and probably stupid question but ...
How do you disable the display of the little window telling that a new Beta is out and that you should update (quite boring when it happens during a movie) ??
Thanks in advance for your replies ...

You could disable the Version Check addon, I guess.

Shouldn't happen during a movie but i guess DSplayer broke some code

I'll happily take what I can get in that regard
Eventual integrated Netflix app (and etc) with no post-processing goodies is still better than switching to a separate device for it, and shouldn't be worse than the other device. Right now the dsplayer / madVR combo does not work correctly with net streaming content anyways (although aracnoz had tried to make further progress on this recently - some things improved but others still have issues).
I am just happy to see the discussion in this thread turning in a positive direction. I look forward to seeing where Team Kodi takes takes the new VideoPlayer functionality in the future-- Kodi has made such great progress in the past few years. If Team-Kodi and madshi succeed in deciding on an interface acceptable to both sides for madVR to plug into I would be happy to help do detailed tests on that as well. I can at least file proper, detailed bug reports- I know lack of information is sometimes the hardest part in fixing issues

Thats only if Netflix decides to write a binary addon for Kodi. Without their support there will be no Netflixs integrated into Kodi.

ouch ... I'm damn stupid for not thinking about this solution ...
Thanks man ...
Hey guys,
I know this is subjective but what would be the best chroma to use on uncompressed bluray rips using a Mac Mini (Windows 10) with a HD4000 / i7 2.5GHz?

Full integration with madVR video renderer including a customized madVR gui and access to all madVR post-processing features;
Custom video renderers: Enhanced Video Renderer (EVR) and Video Mixing Renderer 9 (VMR9);
Excuse my lack of knowledge about DSplayer, but what EXACTLY advantages gives all those codecs-filters-etc to users/lookers?

Lanczos or Spline.
3 or 4 taps? anti ringing as well?

Oh, don't we love DRM? I wish the movie industry would take a hint from the music industry...
It's really not gonna change anything, I just checked up UHD standards and the difference is HDCP 2.2.
As far as i'm aware, HDCP 2.2 kills the picture connection if proper keys aren't exchanged within 20ms,
HDCP 2.2 just has a rather harder encryption to crack, older HDCP versions are all cracked, i'll give it max 1month honestly, instead of unencrypting data it's gonna be all about cracking HDCP signal keys.
I'm not sure what Hollywood is trying, but it's not gonna work as long as things are local. They think they can make puzzles impossible to crack...well think again, as soon as someone figures out the HDCP 2.2 key algorithm they're done as usual, and rip all those millions spent on HDCP research.& development.
For now I update Jarvis with all update until now (12/03/2015) .

I've just checked this thread after some time. And aracnoz leaving this DSplayer project which he has taken us further than anyone else is such a shame. After reading the current state and vision thread and the answers he received both there and here from a couple of the developers, I was about to write an angry reply. I don't think he deserved the hostile answers he got, and can understand if that was the final reason he left, but of course the heavy workload on DSplayer which he had to do mostly alone was too much for one person.
I would be perfect for us DSPlayer users to have it integrated in official builds somehow, but it's very much easier said than done. I've programmed a short time and can understand on a very basic level how difficult it must be to manage all that code. A hope for the future is that DSPlayer doesn't obsolete when seeing the progress aracnoz has made.
A REALLY big thanks to aracnoz for the impressive work he has done on this project and a sympathetic developer also, which is not always the case.
He has taken DSPlayer to a higher level and hopefully his work won't die out.
And also thanks to madshi for his kindness and time to help and get madvr into DSplayer and Warner306 for maintaining the guide. Lastly thanks to the official developers of Kodi. Even if I don't agree with the prioritize of Windows platform and DSplayer integration, I understand the limited ressources and the multiplatform arguments and am greatful to have such a great Mediacenter software as Kodi, which is the best there is.
And hopefully in the future aracnoz would become active again, even just to see what DSPlayer has developed into in the future.
A positive thing is that some of the official developers became active in this thread and hopefully there's light at the end of the tunnel for DSPlayer future and the great work especially aracnoz but also madshi, tiben, and those I have missed, has put into this project.
