@LePousson

Strange comment that of yours... I'm still thinking if u tried to help there or not
I have my 3 computers running with W10 and 2 of them with Nvidia, and all with DSPlayer with no problem (just to let djoole know).
It was a kind of joke man ...

But about NVidia, I can't accept that a card paid 400€ or more is not able to handle correctly the 23,976Hz frequency, while a simple R270X is handling it without having to play with the custom frequency ...

About Win10, you can think what you want but on my computers, Win7 is much more stable than W8/8.1 and also than W10 ... That's because of that stability that I said mixing W10 & NVidia for an HTPC is, according to my experience, a big error ... But it is only MY opinion and I totally assume it even if you don't agree ...
Well, if it comes to a matter of opinion, and just for the sake of helping the guy, I will say MY opinion is that I disagree. I'm not any kindda fanboy and I don't care about brands, I had AMD, and I had W7. I can only agree (MY experience), that actually W10 is pretty new.
Not trying to start any fight, just cause u gave that opinion, I had the need to express mine, being on the far oposite side.
Cheers!

Just an idea for a parameter that arouses I think much interest.

3D playback is still experimental, so it is probably early to provide any instructions. Also, it requires test versions of LAV Filters, so you might as well wait until the next version of LAV Filters is released.
OK. If there will be your new instructions to guide not just finished phase "Experimental" 3D playback, 3D playback Any other use for me is to be considered in the standby mode of this innovation process madVR.
Thanks.
got 3D playback working with kodi dsplayer.
but it is to unstable for daily use.

do you have a short instruction how you managed this? Would be great! Although it is unstable I just want to see how to configure it.
Thanks a lot !!
This quite doesn't help.. I switched from Seven to 10 because i had a major bug that no one in the world wide web seemed to have! Found nothing on it, not here or elsewhere.
Kodi was thinking network was down. A bit annoying when all my media is in a NAS.

So I figured that since I had to start from scratch a new system, I would tkae advantage of the situation and upgrade my Seven freely.. (won't be possible anymore in a few months and I'm not planning to start from scratch at the drop of a hat).
Moreover i didn't see a lot of complains about W10..

Am I the only one here having BSOD? Again?

EDIT : I didn't notice the page 173 and was replying to LePousson post on page 173.. I understand you were joking even if the joke was bad Wink

@vicmanpergar, Thanks for sharing your experience, even if I would have preferred not to be the only one with this issue (it's easier to make progress than on solo)!!

I plan to test the hardware (memtest and stuff) even If I doubt it's the cause, as it was working nice with Seven.
Then I'll stay for a time with DVDPlayer to see if the issue is related to madVR/DSPlayer/DDfilters..
Might make sense to wait a bit for 3D. Just a week or two should make a big difference. We're in the process of sorting out some early problems. Generally 3D playback should work in any media player which supports madVR, including dsplayer. The media player doesn't need to do anything to make it work, it doesn't even have to know that output is 3D. Of course the kodi GUI will stay 2D, but it still should work just fine. In theory, at least...
Many thanks to aracnoz (eventhough he is not with us) - Warner306 - Wanilton - and certainly to Madshi even though i am not interesting for 3d , but only for MadVr
Thanks for your continous efforts

it is really strange to get it working with tapping out of kodi and changing settings when playback started.

the reason i posted this is to let you guys know that the current version of dsplayer can display 3D with madVR.

I would do a clean install of Windows 10 if you had issues with the simple upgrade, but only as a last resort.
can this player play hsbs files or not? if so, how do i setup it up?
