from the kodi main menu try pressing \ this switch between full and windowed, this should resolve after a few selections. You may also have issues if you set 4k resolutions in display mode in MADVR, it cause me all sorts of crashing, freezing and zooming issues in KODI DS which went away as soon as I removed them. If you want to use DSplayer and play 4k stuff use and external player but it will mean you'll have to rename all your 4k stuff with something you can place in playercorefactory.
For those with 4K HTPC's that want to use this, this is my setup:
KODI DSPLAYER opens in 4k resolution.
MAVR has only 1080p display modes added, so all 1080p content plays normally.
MPC-HC set as external player for 3D MVC frame packed stuff (can no longer get DSPLAYER to play this for some reason) - all file contain (MVC)
MPC-BE set as external player for 4k stuff, this has been set to normal renderer instead of MADVR which plays HEVC/ HDR stuff very smoothly.

Is the videoresolution attribute not useable for some reason? In the wiki it mentions resolutions up to 1080p but maybe it's been updated. The db should be populated with that info.

Hello everybody, it's been a while since I starded to read this thread but now i need help.
I have some problems.
1.any time I start to see a movie the image is too low, i have to enter the video menu, go to video sceen calibration and clock on one of the blue angles and everything is resolved. I already done this in the main menu but anytime i start a movie the image is too low and i have to just click on one of the blue angles and all the other angles go to their place.
2. The subtitles are in the black bar area but once in a while they goes up by themselfs.
3. If i watch a video on youtube the audio il multi ch and i didn't activate none of the options to mix or match the configuration of the speakers. I don't understand why does't it play stereo....

1. Are you using screen config in madVR with black bar detection? If not, try this feature or disable it.
2. Can't fix that. madVR is in control of subtitles.
3. Recheck your settings in LAV Audio. It may be set to matrix to Dolby Pro Logic II. If you are using Sanear, all stereo sources are automatically output as multi-channel. In this case, use ReClock instead.
Hi guys, I'm using dsplayer Isengard, and when I try to update it to the Jarvis version Kodi doesn't work anymore. When I start it I receive the error "Kodi has stopped working". Why?

install it as portable, if it works i'm afraid you'll have to remove isengard and do a free install, you can backup your settings though.

1. I was not using the black bar detection, i tried it and the problem is not going away. I noticed that i have this problem only with the projector that is connected to an AV receiver (denon x4000). I tried to remove any video option i have on the receiver but no luck.
3. Installing Reclock fixed the problem with youtube audio, thanks.

If you have a look here
http://kodi.wiki/view/Playercorefactory.xml , you'll notice that video resolution is one of the attributes you can use to build rules for playercorefactory. As such, there should not be any need to rename files in order to choose a different player for 4K material. You need to rename files if you want to build rules based on framerate, because that's not available as an attribute for rules building.
BUT
but in the wiki 4K is not listed as a resolution for the videoresolution attribute, which is why I was wondering whether it had been updated to include it or not.

Help, can it be because i have the monitor connected also? On the monitor i don't have this problem .
Hi guys, I have a problem.
I used dsplayer isengard with my nvidia gt720 without problems, now I had updated to jarvis, but everytime I start a movie it stutters (also h264), or everything freezes with black screens and glitches. Why?
In another pc, with the same dsplayer version but with an hd7850, everything works as before.
